Jonathan Hollander, CEO and Chief Architect, Vigilo
Security International
Jonathan Hollander, CEO and chief architect of Vigilo
Security International, founded the company with a group
of technology and security professionals in 2003. His
understanding of the technologies that are revolutionizing
video surveillance combines with his focus on customer
satisfaction as the principal drivers behind the companys
rapid expansion in the public and private sector security
markets.
Jonathan has a history of integration leadership in mission-critical
technology solutions. Before founding Vigilo, Jonathan
was co-founder and president of dotSHOP, a computing consulting
firm providing Internets, Intranets and Extranets for
medium and large enterprises. He also co-founded two wireless
service providers GigaTrans, a provider of fixed
wireless access to Detroit businesses, and Sincuerda,
a provider of wireless internet access to the Miami hospitality
industry.
Jonathan was a technology consultant for the Texas State
Education Department where he provided strategic planning
for the largest K-12 private WAN in the United States.
Before that assignment, he was responsible for site design
and Internet strategic planning at the University of Miami
(Florida).
Jonathan holds a degree in International Business &
Marketing from the City of London University. He has also
been appointed Vice Chair of the Technology Committee
at the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce. He speaks regularly
on the benefits of the Internet and World Wide Web.
Kenneth J. Quisenberry, Vice President, Security
Effective video surveillance and monitoring systems design
requires security expertise as well as technical understanding.
As Vice President, Security, Ken serves as Vigilo's senior
security and surveillance expert. His field experience
in law enforcement, public safety and private investigations
makes him uniquely qualified to consult on the security
and surveillance needs of Vigilo's customers.
Ken retired from the Oakland County Sheriff Department
in 2002, after 24 years of service. His final rank of
Lieutenant placed him eleventh on a force consisting of
more than 1,200 officers. As a Commanding Officer, Ken
led the Oakland County Homicide Task Force, Conspiracy
Task Force, Narcotics Enforcement Team, Organized Crime
& RICO Task Force, and Covert and Undercover Intelligence
Operations.
With specialized training in Anti-Terrorist/Vulnerability
Assessment, Advanced Homicide Investigation, Undercover
Narcotics Operations and FBI Violent Crimes, Ken speaks
the language of public safety and crime investigation
specialists. He also holds a lifelong interest in leveraging
technology to improve the quality and effectiveness of
situational awareness, evidence gathering and protection
of the public.
As an Electronic Surveillance Specialist, Ken frequently
speaks on the convergence of technology and public safety
initiatives for industry associations such as the American
Society of Industrial Security. |
